This is one of the most wonderful remedies in the entire herb kingdom. When it is considered all that can be accomplished by its use, and what it actually will do, it does seem like a cure-all.

It is difficult to find a disease for which Goldenseal would not be useful. Taken with any herb, it increases the tonic properties for the specific organs that are being treated. It is thus used with Eyebright as a tonic for eyes; with Gotu Kola as a tonic for the brain; with Squawvine as an excellent tonic for the genitourinary system in women; and with Cascara bark as a lower bowel tonic.
